I’m no longer teaching public classes.
I’m available to hit the road with my workshops:
Movement Medicine: The Revival Series
Under the poses, the sports, and hours of sitting we’ve forgotten basic human movement. Let’s skip the exercise chores and play again! Open to yogis, athletes, or anyone needing to reboot an information-aging body. Take one or more sessions to:
- Unravel aches and pains.
- Recharge your current exercise program.
- Take home “movement snacks” that fit into your life.
- Ask questions and learn how to sustain your body.
- Finish with a meditation and yogic relaxation
Mobility and Stability: The Alchemy of Movement Medicine
How did we get from happy babies to upstanding adults? We rolled around on the floor for awhile, learned to crawl, and eventually stood tall. This therapeutic class retraces our physical development and unlocks restricted breathing. We’ll lubricate the joints, wake up the core, and restore ourselves by acting less grown-up.
Shoulders, Hips, & Core: Sustainable Vinyasa
Flow yoga classes often gloss over important details of safe and sustainable alignment. Sadie, a.k.a. the “Chataranga Whisperer,” reveals the hidden fundamentals of the sun salutation and ujjiay breathing. We’ll troubleshoot tricky transitions, learn modifications, and build heat without burning out. This is a crucial class for vinyasa regulars, yoga newbies, or anyone who wants to the sweaty, exuberant yoga party to last for decades.
Free Range Yoga: Inversions and Deeper Backbends
After mastering alignment rules, we’ll experiment with breaking them. We’ll crawl off our mats to escape linear patterns and ignite creativity. We’ll summon the chutzpah for frisky inversions and unguarded backbends. This complete bodymind workout requires no equipment and can be done anywhere we dare to move freely.
DIY Practice: The Nuts and Bolts of Self-Mastery
Ready to own your actions? Let’s build your home practice as an aquarium o’ transformation. We’ll start with the raw materials: establishing routines, knowing your sankulpa or sacred purpose, and taking small, consistent steps. We’ll excavate clarity and experiment with what most moves us.
